Today, the wait for safe drinking water in the Trapper Creek area officially ends. The board of Trapper Creek Community Services and officials from the Mat-Su Borough will cut a ribbon for the new Trapper Creek Watering Point at 2 pm.
The watering point opened back in late April. For the cost of one quarter, anyone needing water can activate a water pump that delivers up to 250 gallons. The facility is available 24 hours a day.
The Trapper Creek Watering Point is located on East Devonshire Drive just west of the Trapper Creek Library. After the ribbon cutting, there will be refreshments at the Trapper Creek Community Building.
