One person is dead, and four have been taken to the hospital after a multi-vehicle collision near Mile 91 of the Parks Highway.
Alaska State Troopers say a shuttle bus with two people on board was driving northbound when it crossed the center line and collided with both a Toyota SUV and a Dodge van driving south.
According to Troopers, the driver of the van was 62-year-old Tamela Kringlund of Minnesota. She was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. All of the other occupants of the three vehicles were taken to the hospital. Troopers say one of those people is listed in critical condition.
The collision resulted in the Parks Highway being closed for more than two hours. Troopers say the investigation is ongoing.
