One person has died, and two have been hospitalized after an early morning rollover on the Parks Highway in Wasilla.
Alaska State Troopers and emergency medical service personnel responded to the accident just before 4:00 am on Tuesday.
Troopers say two people were ejected from the vehicle as a result of the rollover. One of the two unidentified passengers was deceased. The other was taken to Providence Hospital in critical condition.
One other person in the car, who Troopers believe was the driver, was taken to Mat-Su Regional Medical Center with minor injuries.
The rollover closed the Northbound Parks Highway Tuesday morning as Troopers cleared the scene. Speed and alcohol are believed to be factors in the accident. As of the latest Trooper report, notification of next of kin is still underway.
