TALKEETNA— An international project called “One Tree” is beginning to take root in Talkeetna. Talkeetna Elementary School students as well as local artists are embarking on a one-year journey to study and make products out of one birch tree from root to its leaves. The Talkeetna One Tree project kicked off this week.
