If two’s company and three’s a crowd, Downtown Talkeetna can expect a mob of cheerful cross-country enthusiasts during the Oosik Classic Ski race at high noon on March 17th . On Wednesday afternoon the 500th skier registered for the fun and funky 25- or 50-kilometer race. Registration is still open, and that number is likely to continue to increase in the next ten days until the start of the race next Saturday.
