Denali Nordic Ski Club hosts the 13th Annual Frozen Basil Poker Ski on Sunday, February 2nd. This 7.5 mile ski starts at 12pm at Flying Squirrel Bakery and Café and ends at Denali Brew Pub on Main Street. A shuttle is available from Denali Education Center to Flying Squirrel, running every 15 minutes from 10:45am until 12pm.

The Denali Nordic Ski Club will have its monthly board meeting on Thursday, February 6th at 6 pm at the Latitude 62. All are welcome.

Denali Nordic Ski Club presents the film, The Last King, at the Sheldon Community Arts Hangar on Friday March 7th. This R-rated film begins at 7:30pm, after Oosik Registration. This film screening is a folk tale set in 1206 Norway, about ski champions who protect a child with a royal following.

The Denali Nordic Ski Club's monthly board meeting is on Wednesday, March 26th, at 6 pm, at the Latitude 62. All are welcome.

The Denali Nordic Ski Club is holding its annual membership and election meeting on Thursday, November 6th from 5 to 7:30 pm at the Sheldon Community Arts Hanger. They are kicking off the ski season with food, drinks, and updates on what's ahead this year. There will be a board member election, membership renewal and information on upcoming volunteer opportunities. All are welcome.  Attendees can bring gear for an opportunity to buy/sell/swap ski gear. Denali Nordic Ski Club is hosting a volunteer mixer gathering at the Latitude 62 on Thursday, November 13th from 6-8 pm. The Denali Nordic Ski Club hosts a Solstice Stroll on Saturday, December 20th at 6 pm. There might not be enough snow to ski but that is not stopping them from celebrating Solstice. All are invited to meet at Whigmi trail head, there will be hot drinks and a fire. Please bring your own chair.
