  • TCCI seeking CAP committee volunteers

    Talkeetna Community Council is looking for community members to serve on their Community Assistance Program (CAP) committee.  The committee will meet in late April to review grant applications and make recommendations on how to distribute CAP funds. If you are interested please email cap@talkeetnacouncil.org.

    The Talkeetna Community Council is currently looking to fill one vacant Board member seat. Interested candidates can submit a Declaration of Candidacy available at talkeetnacouncil.org. The elected candidate will sit on the Board until the next election cycle in November. The candidate is required to live within the Talkeetna Community Council area; the map available on the council's website. Candidates will be accepted until the next meeting on August 4th at which the vote will take place.

  • Talkeetna Community Council Nominations for Board of Directors

    The Talkeetna Community Council Inc. Board of Directions is accepting nominations for 3, two-year term seats to be included on the November 4th ballot. Residents of legal voting age, eligible to vote in MatSu borough elections, and whose primary residence is within the Talkeetna Community Council boundaries are eligible. All nominees must complete a Declaration of Candidacy Form which is available at talkeetnacouncil.org.

    The Talkeetna Community Council holds its annual Board of Directors election today, Tuesday November 4th.  If your primary residence is within the Council’s boundaries and you are eligible to vote in Borough elections, you can vote in this election. Voting is at the Talkeetna Public Library from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm. Maps and eligibility requirements are available to examine at the Library. Candidate bios are posted on the website talkeetnacouncil.org.
