If you'd like to volunteer for their upcoming Game Show, Krew Fewd, they need a couple more people to help out with setup/breakdown of the event and helping out with the deck art auction. The Talkeenta Skatepark Committee presents Krew Fewd 2 a Live Game Show Fundraiser and Art Auction on Thursday, March 12th at the Sheldon Arts Hangar. Attendees are able to bid on skateboards designed by local artists beginning at 6pm and then watch the Family-Feud style game show play out live at 7pm. Donations are appreciated, all proceeds will go towards building the Talkeetna Skatepark.

A community yard sale will be held at the Talkeetna Gear Shop on Saturday, June 27th. 100% of the proceeds will go to the Talkeetna Skatepark. Donated items of all types can be brought to the Gear Shop through June 26th. The Gear Shop is open from 10am to 6pm every day, and is located across from K2 Aviation, on Second Street in Talkeetna.
