  • Willow Bike Park Opening

    Newman Memorial Park Willow Creek Parkway, Willow, AK, United States

    Willow Area Community Organization (WACO) hosts the Willow Bike Park Opening on Saturday, June 1st from 1 to 4pm at the Newman Memorial Park in Willow. There will be bike games, a bike decorating station, bike repair station and door prizes. Limited parking available, overflow parking at the dog park.

  • Willow Community Clean-Up

    June 8th - 9th, 11am - 5pm. Pick up yellow bags from Newman Tesoro, Roni's Deli or the Community Center Lobby. Bring your yellow bags to Newman Memorial Park. MatSU Borough Roadsides, right-of-ways, and public land only. Email WACO_secretary@waco-ak.org with questions.

  • Willow State Winter Carnival

    The 63rd Annual Willow State Winter Carnival begins on Friday, January 31st with a wide variety of events for all ages through Sunday, February 2nd.     As a part of the Willow State Winter Carnival, the Willow-Caswell Fire Department Auxiliary presents a Fire & Ice Family Dance Night on Friday, February 7th from 6-10pm at the Willow Community Center.

    Willow Community Clean-up

    Willow Area Community Organization hosts the annual Willow Community Clean-up from 12 to 5pm on Saturday, May 3rd and Sunday, May 4th. Yellow trash bags may be picked up from Newman's Gas Station, Roni's Deli, and the Willow Community Center Lobby. A dumpster is available in the Community Center parking for collected trash from MatSu Borough Roadways, Right of Ways and Public Lands. More information at waco-ak.org.

    The Willow Area Community Organization (WACO) hosts Willow's 4th of July Parade and Celebration this Friday. The parade starts at the First Baptist Church at noon and travels to the Willow Community Center. Following the parade is a celebration at the Community Center; there will be a contest for the most patriotic outfit and a community BBQ beginning at 1:30pm.
