Subject to AS 38.95.080, the Southcentral Region Land Office is considering the issuance of a Movement of Heavy Equipment Permit to Arnie Hrncir of Sutton, AK. The permit would authorize the use of heavy equipment below the mean high water line on the Matanuska River to remove material in a 30’x50’ area to allow access of boats bringing clients to private property for commercial purposes. The removed material would be placed in a different location within the Matanuska River. The permit would be authorized for up to five years for maintenance of the boat access area. If issued, the location of the project would be within the NW ¼ SW ¼ Sec. 29, Township 20 North, Range 9 East, of the Seward Meridian.
