RFP #2011-1000-9820: for the Surveying and Platting of Kantishna Remote Recreational Cabin Sites, ASLS 2009-43.
The Department of Natural Resources, Division of Mining, Land & Water (“State”) is soliciting proposals for a professional services contract for the surveying and platting of 13 parcels within the Kantishna RRCS.
PLEASE NOTE: It is the proposer’s responsibility to read the entire contents of this RFP and to provide a responsive proposal. Please pay particular attention to the following sections: Section 5, which defines the scope of work and the proposed schedule; Section 6 explains how a proposal should be structured and Section 7 describes the proposal evaluation criteria.
Note: As of September 4, 2010 the State of Alaska has added a Veteran Preference, see Section 2.15.
Proposals must be received in writing at the Issuing Office by November 4, 2010 no later than 3:00 P.M. Failure to meet the deadline will result in disqualification of the proposal without review.
The contract is anticipated to be awarded by December 16, 2010. All final deliverables and reports are to be submitted to the State no later than May 15, 2012. It is hoped that the contractor will be able to accelerate this schedule.
