Project Description:
Linc Energy Operations, Inc. (Linc) plans to explore for conventional natural gas resources on State of Alaska Oil & Gas Lease #ADL 390588, located immediately north of Point MacKenzie Rd. in Section 30, T16N, R3W, Seward Meridian, within the Matanuska-Susitna Borough. Linc’s exploration plan consists of one well, the LEA #1, to be drilled in October, 2010. The LEA #1 will be placed on a private 10-acre surface parcel owned by Linc. A 325 x 295 feet (approximately 2.2 acres) gravel pad to support drilling operations and related support equipment will be constructed on a previously disturbed portion of the parcel, and an existing gravel roadway will be used to access the site. Water withdrawal for drilling operations will take place at two locations, one at the well pad site on Linc-owned property, and one at a private landowner water well one-half mile south.
