Raft stolen from McKinley village
A McKinley Village river rafting outfit reported the theft of a raft and other equipment sometime on Monday night.
A McKinley Village river rafting outfit reported the theft of a raft and other equipment sometime on Monday night. According to Alaska State Troopers, somebody entered the raft company’s property near McKinley Village, stole dry suits, a pump and oars and is presumed floating down the Nenana River.
The items stolen are worth more than six-thousand dollars. Troopers are looking for a dark GMC or Chevy truck in connection to a similar attempted theft of a raft last month.
