Rams bring home two medals from state track meet

Over the Memorial Day weekend, multiple Su Valley students competed at the state Division II track and field tournament, with two bringing home medals. Maya Mossanen headlined the Rams’ performance

Over the Memorial Day weekend, multiple Su Valley students competed at the state Division II track and field tournament, with two bringing home medals.

Maya Mossanen headlined the Rams’ performance by repeating as the state high jump champion with a jump of five feet, zero inches.

Dalton Pinard also brought home a medal, finishing second on the men’s 300-meter hurdles.  He also finished sixth in the 100 meter race.

Other placing Rams include John Hicks, who took fourth in the 100 and 200 meters, and sixth in the 400, Thomas Macdonald, who finished sixth in the 1600 meters, Luke Graupman, who took fifth in the 300 meter hurdles, and Cy Jolley, who finished sixth in both high jump and discus.
