The Susitna Valley Track & Field Teams won the Region 2 Meet, held last weekend at Su-Valley High School.
Seven schools competed in the meet. Several Su-Valley athletes placed first in their events, qualifying them for the State competition.
For the Male Rams; Austin Barnard won both the high jump and the 100 meter dash. Gideon Bedingfield won both the triple jump and the 800 meter dash.
The boys 400 meter and 100 meter relay teams dominated their races. The 100 meter relay team of Jacob Shockey, Ryan Gossett, Gideon Bedingfield and Austin Barnard, broke the school record for that event at a meet held earlier in the season.
