A second suspect is identified in the Trapper Creek burglaries that occurred on October 15th. In addition, the two suspects appear to have also burglarized a location in Talkeetna the same day, based on online Court records.
Bri Faller appears to have been implicated in the crimes, though there is no active warrant for her arrest at this time. The Department of Corrections confirms Faller is not in custody at this time, but she was released for time served for another crime in March of this year.
Malachi Cohen was arrested for Burglary, Theft, Violating Conditions of Release for Felony, Criminal Trespass, and Mischief. Cohen was recognized following a social media post about a suspicious individual at a Trapper Creek cabin. Employees at the Trapper Creek Three Bears recognized Cohen and were able to direct Troopers to his location.
Cohen was indicted at a Grand Jury hearing last week. Faller was indicted at the same Grand Jury hearing. According to the Department of Corrections, Cohen remains in custody at MatSu Pretrial for those charges. He has not yet been sentenced.
