Snow Plow Tracking Now Available in Some Areas of the Mat-Su

The Mat-Su Borough’s winter maintenance dashboard is now live.

The tracker monitors snow plowing in multiple road service areas administered by the borough, including the Greater Talkeetna and Greater Willow Road Service Areas.

The map utilizes GPS technology to display when roads in the covered areas have been plowed.  Those trackers were included as mandatory provisions in the road maintenance contracts for multiple road service areas.

The map is also linked to the borough’s Problem Reporter page, which allows residents to communicate issues with borough staff.
