The first stages of Talkeetna Town Park’s renovation are visible this week, as truckloads of sod were delivered to the north end of the Park.
The Sod, which was torn up from the fields around the Borough building in Palmer, are part of a 70-thousand dollar renovation for the park that will include a new Bandstand, updated barriers, new trees and a storage shed for tools used for park maintenance.
Also this week, the Youth Conservation Corps could be seen planting flowers and sprucing up the place for summer.
