So much going on in the night sky! Kathleen will need to narrow the focus to keep within the time constraints… Aurora, a naked eye comet, the super duper moon this week, a meteor shower next weekend, a few planets, etc.
In this star chart, the bright star to the lower right is Arcturus. Find this star above the western horizon after sunset by following the curve of the Big Dipper’s handle. Not far to the upper left of Arcturus is the sweet semi-circle that is the Northern Crown, Corona Borealis. Kathleen drew a circle to show the region where T CrB is expected to appear, any day now… It is likely to remain visible to the naked eye for about 3 days.
