The Alaska Department of Health and Social Services has expanded eligibility for state-supplied COVID-19 vaccines to a new sub-tier.

On Wednesday morning, DHSS announced that Tier 1c is now able to make appointments to receive vaccines.  This tier includes Alaskans who are 55 years old, adults with certain medical conditions, essential workers, live in multi-generation households, or live in underserved communities.

Alaskans who were already eligible for a COVID-19 vaccine in a previous tier remain eligible.  Complete information who can receive a state-supplied vaccine is available at covidvax.Alaska.gov
