5/30 UPDATE: We’re back on air at 88.9 FM! A huge thanks to engineer Bill Prendergast for making three trips to Talkeetna in the last six days to get us back on air.
5/27 UPDATE: Thank you to the engineers for working this holiday weekend to fix the transmission problem. Their quest for a solution continues so we are still re-broadcasting KSKA on 88.9 FM. You can hear KTNA programming on our stream and read the news here on the website. There will be no local news on Memorial Day.
5/25: We could be back on at 88.9 FM over the weekend. The state engineer from Anchorage was here today to repair equipment at the station and the transmitter site. Unfortunately, the units in question may need to be removed to be fixed. So he’ll be back over the weekend to install loaner units that will get us back on air while our equipment is being repaired.
Thanks, everyone, for your patience, and don’t forget that you can still hear everything on our stream and read the news here on the website.
