TALKEETNA – The Mat Su Borough Assembly recently approved Jane Steere to be seated on the Talkeetna Sewer and Water Board.
The local utility board is an advisory board to the Borough’s Public Works.
Steere co-owns and operates Chinook Wind Cabins in downtown Talkeetna.
There is still one vacant seat on this advisory board.
A number of other upper valley seats remain open on various Borough boards, including the Mat Su Borough library board, the Talkeetna AND Caswell Fire Service Areas, and the Talkeetna Flood Control Service Area.
Resident John Strausenberg is on the list to be approved for an open at-large seat on the Parks, Recreation and Trails Advisory Board.
