Talkeetna vehicle rollover injures three
State Troopers Bureau of Highway Patrol and Talkeetna Patrol Troopers responded to the scene of a single vehicle rollover in Talkeetna early Sunday morning.
State Troopers Bureau of Highway Patrol and Talkeetna Patrol Troopers responded to the scene of a single vehicle rollover in Talkeetna early Sunday morning.
Troopers report that a 1988 Volvo sedan traveled westbound on Beaver Rd when it lost control and left the roadway where it
impacted the ditch, rolled over on its roof and then collided with a tree.
Richard Holt age 23 of Anchorage, Sarah Ellsworth age 18 of Talkeetna and Storm Newgren age 18 of Talkeetna were all in the vehicle.
Newgren sustained serious injuries and was transported to an Anchorage hospital via air ambulance. Ellsworth and Holt were transported to the hospital for injuries sustained in the crash.
None reported wearing seatbelts and alcohol is believed to be a contributing factor in the cause of the crash.
The investigation is ongoing.
