Over the last few days, temperatures have dipped below zero degrees Fahrenheit. The last time temperatures hit sub-zero was on March 7th, 2014, when the recorded low was seven-degrees-below-zero. The overnight hours between Sunday and Monday marked the coldest temperatures of the new year, with the mercury plunging to fifteen-below. Anchorage and other parts of the Railbelt are still waiting to see the first sub-zero day in over a year.
