Cici Schoenberger, behavioral health provider at Sunshine Community Health Center, talks about two upcoming programs at the clinic: The two week Savvy Caregiver classes, which teaches specific strategies to support those caring for Alzheimer’s or another dementia, and the six week Living Well Alaska: Chronic Disease Self-Management program. The Living Well Alaska program is free for people (and their partners) with any kind of chronic condition or illness. The sessions cover nutrition, sleep, exercise, and relaxation techniques, with individualized action plans for living better, and support in fulfilling the plans.
