Investigators with the Mat Su Narcotics Unit, Alaska Bureau of Alcohol and Drug Enforcement, as well as Alaska State Troopers made an arrest at a house on I Street in east Talkeetna at 3 o’clock Wednesday morning.
A search warrant and investigation led the officials to an active meth lab in the house. The meth production employed a ‘one pot’ method of manufacturing methamphetamine.
Homeowner Jennifer Spain, 48 and Michael Halla, 27, both of Talkeetna, were placed under arrest for multiple counts of manufacturing of a controlled substance and transported to Mat Su Pre Trial in Palmer.
