Troopers rescued a 63-year old Anchorage man by helicopter from an area off the Denali Highway when he called for help to get back to his car for needed prescription medication.Richard Olson was out bear hunting by himself. According to troopers he was stuck in a creek bed about five miles away from the road. Olson had swamped his ATV and spent two days trying to get his machine to work. On Thursday, he set off his personal emergency locator and called for help. An Alaska Wildlife Trooper in a R-44 helicopter flew to Olson’s aid and transported him to safety.
