Much of Southcentral Alaska saw snow over the weekend, but the Upper Valley got the most.  According to the National Weather Service, Talkeetna topped the snowfall between January 22nd and 23rd with seventeen inches.  Willow received twelve inches, and Trapper Creek saw ten inches.  The snow quickly gave way to clear, cold weather, with temperatures in Talkeetna and Trapper Creek dipping as low as twenty-six-degrees-below-zero in the early hours of Monday morning, and wind chills dropping past forty-below.
