Local students with the afterschool program, Su Valley Band Lab, will be showcasing their new found skills with support from the band Wasteland Hop at Su Valley Jr./Sr. High School on Friday, May 9th. Doors open at 6:30pm and the showcase starts at 7pm. All are welcome to attend.

Denali Arts Council hosts a puppet show with Lightwire Theater – presenting an electroluminescent theatrical retelling of the Tortoise and Hare for the whole family. This final performance of the Denali Arts Council’s Performing Arts Season is at Su Valley Jr/Sr High School on Saturday, April 19th. Doors open at 6:30pm, the show begins at 7pm. The last home basketball games of the season at Susitna Valley High School are today (Friday, February 28th). Jr. Varsity games start at 3:30pm and Varsity begin at 6:30 pm, starting with girls then boys.

Susitna Valley High School is having a fundraiser today (Wednesday) from 4-8pm at the school. There will be basketball games and some spinach bread for sale. The proceeds go to a student trip to Washington DC and other needs. All are welcome.

The Su-Valley Parent-Teacher-Student Association is hosting a fundraising silent auction during the Crowley Basketball Tournament at the Su-Valley Jr/Sr High School. The auction opens today and closes around 3 pm on Saturday the 14th. The auction includes items donated by local businesses and individuals from across the Northern Susitna Valley.
