The Mat-Su Jewish Center Chabad hosts a community Chanukah celebration at the Upper Susitna Community and Senior Center on Sunday, December 14th at 3:30pm. The Upper Susitna Seniors hosts three introductory 1-hour sessions for an upcoming Depression & Anxiety Recovery Program at the Upper Susitna Community and Senior Center. Those interested can choose to attend one of the following dates: Saturday, December 6th at 4pm, Sunday, December 7th at 2pm, or Monday, December 8th at 6pm. The Depression & Anxiety Recovery Program begins in January, pre-registration will be available for those who feel this program is a good fit for them. Volunteers with the AARP Foundation’s Tax-Aide program will be available to help community members with preparing and filing income taxes this coming Saturday, March 22nd at the Upper Susitna Community and Senior Center. Appointments are available and may be made by calling Sean at (907) 947-4310.

The Susitna Community Council meets on Thursday, March 6th at 6:00 pm at the Upper Susitna Senior & Community Center. Completed grant applications for their Community Assistance Program (CAP) are due by 8pm that day.  Anyone requesting grant funds for a project is invited to attend this meeting to share their grant request with the Board. More information and grant application available at susitnacc.org.
