    The Talkeetna Public Library hosts a weekly afterschool program called Reading Tuesdays. Students are welcome to come and read, work on homework or a craft, and spend time with friends from 3:15 until 5pm every Tuesday. Sunshine Transit is available to pick up students at Talkeetna Elementary School and bring them to the library. Permission slips are required.     Strong Women exercise group meet at 10 am at the Talkeetna Public Library on Tuesdays and Thursdays. A Zoom option is available. This program is aimed at improving strength, balance and flexibility for women over 40 years old. Newcomers are always welcome, weights and instructions are provided.     The Friends of the Talkeetna Library host computer classes every 2nd and 4th Friday from 1 to 3pm at the Talkeetna Public Library. The next class is March 27th and the topic is Windows 11.   • Teen Book to Movie – Talkeetna Library

    Talkeetna Library hosts their Teen Book to Movie program on Saturday, March 28th from 6 to 8pm. The movie this month is Stardust, based on the book by Neil Gaiman. Teens aged 13 to 18 are invited to discuss the book, enjoy the movie and share some pizza. This is the last one for the season.
