    Talkeetna Library’s Breakfast Book Club meets at 9:30am by the fireplace on Wednesday, February 11th. The selection for this month, in honor of Black History Month, is What the Fireflies Knew by Kai Harris. The book club meets in person and on Zoom. Breakfast snacks and beverages will be served.     The Friends of the Talkeetna Library host computer classes every 2nd and 4th Friday from 1 to 3pm at the Talkeetna Public Library beginning on Friday, February 13th.     Talkeetna Library hosts the Tween Page to Screen book club on Saturday, February 14th from 5 to 7pm. They will be watching the movie adaptation of Alex Rider: Stormbreaker by Anthony Horowitz. This 7-week long cooking program is open to 4th and 5th graders and homeschool students are welcome. This program is for 1st through 3rd graders and is designed to help new readers get experience and confidence in reading out loud. Transportation from Talkeetna Elementary School to the library will be provided by Sunshine Transit.
