    The Talkeetna Library’s Seed Catalog is up and running. Herb, vegetable, and flower seeds are available. The Library is in need of some herb starts for the community herb garden.     Talkeetna Library hosts their Tween Page to Screen program on Saturday, March 14 from 5 to 7pm. The movie this month is Inkheart, based on the book by Cornelia Funke. Tweens aged 9 to 12 are invited to discuss the book, enjoy the movie and share some pizza Pie.

    The Talkeetna Library is seeking pie donations for Pi Day on Saturday, March 14th. If you would like to donate a pie, please contact them at (907)861-7645. Pi is a mathematical term but the Talkeetna Library will not be solving geometry problems, they will be serving Pie from 11am to 5pm, or until the pie runs out.

    Talkeetna Public Library is holding day-long events during Spring Break through March14th.

    Today is Taco Thursday. All are welcome to come and make- and eat- tacos until 5pm, or until the supplies run out.
    Friday is Cribbage Day. You can learn how to play cribbage- and checkers- at the Talkeetna Library. In addition, there are jigsaw puzzles to attempt or to take home.
    Saturday, 3/14 is Pi Day - Pi is a mathematical term but the Talkeetna Library will not be solving geometry problems, they will be serving Pie from 11am to 5pm, or until the pie runs out.

This program is for 1st through 3rd graders and is designed to help new readers get experience and confidence in reading out loud.
