Talkeetna Public Library hosts the last Tweens Page to Screen Program on Saturday April 12th from 5pm to 7pm. Tweens ages 9 to 12 watch the movie based on the book, and enjoy pizza and snacks. This month’s selection is Ella Enchanted by Gale Carson Levine.

Talkeetna Public Library hosts Storytime every Thursday at 11:15am. This week's theme is Poetry, they will learn some poems and write a Talkeetna poem as well. All ages are welcome.

Talkeetna Public Library's Teen Book to Movie Program meets Saturday, March 29th at 6pm. The book Enola Holmes by Nancy Springer and the movie will be discussed. Teens ages 13-18 are welcome. There will be snacks and pizza. Pick up time is 8pm at the Talkeetna Library. This is the last meeting until the fall.

The Talkeetna Public Library hosts Page to Screen on Saturday, March 22nd from 5 to 7pm at the Talkeetna Library. They will be showing the movie adaptation of The Wild Robot by Peter Brown, there will be pizza and snacks. This program is for tweens ages 9 through 12. Talkeetna Public Library is celebrating their 52nd birthday today (Monday March 17th) from 3 to 5 pm. There will be cake and refreshments, all are welcome.

The Friends of the Talkeetna Library meet on Friday, March 14th at 1pm. Their agenda includes the Summer Reading Program, the Library’s 52nd Birthday Party, grant applications, and more. All are welcome to attend this meeting.

The documentary Free for All: Inside The Public Library will be shown at the Talkeetna Public Library on Thursday, March 13th, beginning at 5:30 pm. The documentary illustrates how public libraries shaped the country and continue to be a sanctuary for Americans everywhere. All our welcome.
