  • Talkeetna Bachelor Society Meeting

    VFW Post on Veterens Way in Talkeetna

    There will be a meeting for all bachelors who are signed up for this year's Talkeetna Bachelor Society Auction & Ball on Saturday, November 15th at 6pm at the VFW. All are asked to come for a group picture and to make final plans for the weekend. Tacos provided. If you have questions you can email tkabachelors@gmail.com

  • Trunk Or Treat – VFW

    VFW Post on Veterens Way in Talkeetna

    Do you love Halloween but live in an area where you rarely get trick-or-treaters? You are invited to set up a station at the VFW on the grassy side of the parking lot for Trunk-or-Treat. Typically this involves setting up the back of a vehicle or a pop up tent, decorating it, and handing out treats. You may set up your station between 4 and 4:30pm on Friday, October 31st to prepare. The VFW typically sees the most trick or treaters between 4:30 and 7pm.

  • Monthly VFW Auxiliary Meeting

    All members are invited to attend the monthly Auxiliary meeting at the Myron F Ace Ebling Post 3836 this Thursday at 7pm. Discussion will include planning for the annual Halloween Hat & Glove Giveaway, Veterans Day, and Scholarships.

    There is a Talkeetna Bachelor Society Round-Up and General Membership Meeting this Saturday, September 27th at the VFW at 6pm. Single men over 21 are invited to come learn about the organization and help plan this years Talkeetna Bachelor Auction & Ball.

    VFW is hosting a community potluck in honor of Dallas Seavey and his 6th Iditarod win, on Friday, March 29th, starting at 6:00 pm. There will be other mushers there as well. Local musicians will be playing around 9pm.
