Alaska State Troopers arrested a Willow man Sunday night after a high-speed chase on the Parks Highway.
At around 11:30 pm, Troopers observed a Chevy van near mile 88 of the highway. The van is suspecting of being connected to multiple thefts in Willow. Troopers attempted to stop the van for erratic driving and equipment violations. The van sped away at speeds up to 100 miles per hour.
Troopers stopped the van forty-seven minutes later at mile 153 of the Parks Highway and arrested the driver, 37-year-old Terry Vincent Brown of Willow. Brown has three outstanding state felony warrant and a federal warrant for probation violation.
Brown is charged with failure to stop at the direction of a peace officer, and reckless endangerment. He was taken to the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility and remanded into custody.
