Alaska State Troopers have identified the man killed in a crash on the Parks Highway last month as 72-year-old Richard Krause of Willow.
The crash was originally reported around 8:00 pm on November 17th. Troopers said Krause was driving a sedan southbound in the northbound lane near mile 95 in heavy snow and ice conditions when his car struck a commercial tractor-trailer driving northbound. Krause was declared dead at the scene. His identity was released on Monday morning after next of kin was notified.
