A Willow man was killed in a head-on collision on the Parks Highway on Tuesday.
Alaska State Troopers first received word of the crash just before noon on Monday. An ambulance happened to drive by the scene near Mile 63 and its crew began giving aid.
Troopers say a Toyota Tundra pickup driven by 30-year-old Christopher Bressler of North Pole collided with a Toyota Camry driven by 27-year-old Rayn Mors of Willow.
Mors and his passenger, 47-year-old Dawn Jacobs, were trapped inside the car. Mors succumbed to his injuries, and Jacobs was medevaced from the scene.
Bressler and his two child passengers were taken to the hospital by ground ambulance with non-life-threatening injuries.
The accident closed the Parks Highway for much of Tuesday afternoon. Troopers are investigating the cause of the crash.
