The trial of Michael Wilson has been delayed until the end of December. Wilson is accused of a number of Talkeetna area burglaries and is connected to the 2 women convicted of the 2007 Halloween robbery.
Wilson and his friend, Aaron Tolen, both from Wasilla, were arrested in October 2007 when the description of their truck matched the one given by 7 Talkeetna youth who were robbed at gunpoint. The girlfriends of Wilson and Tolen were ultimately charged with the robbery. While investigating that crime, Troopers located thousands of dollars worth of stolen goods stashed by Wilson and Tolen.
Wilson is facing over 60 charges of burglary and related crimes.
Kendra Butts, Amber Martin and Aaron Tolen have all pled guilty to lesser charges in order to receive lighter prison sentences.
Their sentencing is currently scheduled for December 8, 2008.
Wilson’s trial is now scheduled for December 22, 2008.
