Trapper Creek council active again

The Trapper Creek Community Council is trying to get on the feet again with a recent election. Three new members were elected to the council this past weekend in a special election.

The council has been inactive for a number of months. They roped Norwood Marsh into agreeing to an appointment on the council in October in hopes the council would get active again.

The council held their election Saturday. Six people were running to fill 3 empty seats on the 5-person board. Josh Filter, Norwood Marsh and Burnu Watkins were elected. They will serve 2-year terms.

The Trapper Creek Community Council meets the third Thursday of each month. Their next meeting is December 18, 2008.
