The Montana Creek Dog Mushers Association held their Willow Championships this past weekend. Blayne Streeper won the open-class race. Jennifer Probert won the 8 dog race and Terri Pauls won the 6 mile skijoring race. Winner in the 4 dog race was Kim Wells and Beverly Stevens took the 6 race.
The trail conditions were vastly improved over the previous weekend. Race organizers reported the trail was in good condition by race day. The loosely packed snow on Saturday became a faster trail on Sunday.
This was the last race of the year for the organization. Their meetings are held on the second Tuesday of the month in Willow.
