Mt. Redoubt erupted at approximately 22:38 Sunday night. There is an ashfall advisory in place. Log on to avo.alaska.avu to get more information. Also check the Mat Su borough website for the residents in the Upper Su Valley. The KTNA newstaff is updated by Mat Su Emergency Services personnel. Also check your favorite weather site for information on windspeeds and direction if you are living in the Valley. The ashfall advisory ends at 4 a.m. Light ashfall is expected over the Susitna Valley.
