Redoubt back to red

Mt. Redoubt continues its explosive cycle. First its up, then its down. A large explosion on Saturday sent ash thousands of feet in the air, darkening the skies of Homer and covering the town in a layer of ash. The effects were felt as far north as Trapper Creek and Talkeetna, although not really visible. The aviation color code is back to red and the alert level is on Warning.
Another small explosion occurred Sunday morning. Small tremors are continuing.
