Norwood Rodney Marsh, age 77, of Trapper Creek died quietly in his home Monday.

Marsh was a life-long civic-minded individual who had been involved off and on for years with KTNA’s Board of Directors and Community Advisory Board. Up until his death, he was involved on the Trapper Creek Community Council, the Upper Susitna Seniors Board, the Historical Preservation Commission of the Mat Su Borough as well as other committees and Boards.

His brother, Ken Marsh, also of Trapper Creek,  said Norwood had not been feeling so well in the recent weeks and had started seeking out medical tests.

Norwood was an outspoken individual on the issues he cared deeply about. He will be greatly missed. The KTNA family sends well wishes to the Marsh family and good friends.

Memorial services for Norwood Rodney Marsh will be held at Fort Richardson on Wednesday October 14th at 10 am, with an honors service at 11:30 am. Flowers may be sent to the Valley Funeral Home in Wasilla, on 151 E. Herning Avenue.
