Denali’s basecamp sets up for another climbing season

Each year at this time there is a flurry of activity on the Kahiltna Glacier at 7,200 feet. The Sugar Bears (B company, 1st Battalion, 52 Aviation Regiment) fly south to Talkeetna to help the National Park Service in one of the most unusual peace time missions in the U.S. This year, KTNA reporter Sue Deyoe, flew up to the glacier in the Chinooks with the crew to assist in basecamp set up.
