Mat Su Borough proposes fire substation on recently cleared plot

The Mat Su Borough and Talkeetna Fire Department are collecting public comment on a proposal for a buried water tank on the Talkeetna Spur Road. Missteps on different levels resulted in land clearing and apologies at the latest Talkeetna Community Council meeting.
