Alaska’s highest court decided on Wednesday to temporarily stop the Alaska Railroad Corporation from spraying herbicides along a 30-mile stretch of railroad tracks between Indian and Seward. Groups have been fighting against the application of weed-killers. The Supreme Court now took up the matter after emergency petitions have been filed this week.
