The One Tree project takes its next step

The One tree project at the Talkeetna Elementary School is in its next phase. Several men spent the day Monday measuring, discussing, clipping and chopping the birch tree into the segments that were requested by artisans in the community. The project encourages the community to use every piece of bark, inch of root and limb of the tree.
