Assembly rejects time limits on audience participation

An ordinance that would restrict public commentary during Borough Assembly Meetings to one hour was defeated unanimously at Tuesday Night’s Assembly Meeting.
The Ordinance would have amended borough code to limit audience participation to one hour, but would have given the assembly the option of extending the hearing when audience participation would last longer than one hour on any one topic.
