The Talkeetna Community Council made a decision at last month’s meeting — to try a new form of communication with residents. The June 7th meeting will be held at Whole Wheat Radio on Birch Creek Blvd. Residents who have computers have the option of sitting at home and streaming the meeting live. The council board of directors said they would try the new venue to see if it is a beneficial and popular form of getting more residents to “attend” meetings. The Mat Su borough assembly currently streams their meetings live every other week through Radio Free Palmer.
The meeting begins at 7 pm. at its usual time. Residents are welcome to attend the meeting or listen in live at www.wholewheatradio.org or wholewheatradio.com
