Tips for Healthy Living

A  live 15-minute conversation about health and health news from the Sunshine Community Health Center: It’s hosted by Holly Stinson, with this Friday’s in-studio guest Keith Kehoe, Physician’s Assistant at the clinic. They discuss the presence of influenza A in the community, and the increase in sinus infections this time of year: why that might be, the amazing amount of mucous that can be produced in a day, (a gallon!), why sinus infections are often not treatable with antibiotics, and some of the non-medicinal treatments for sinus infections. Holly asks whether there is a downside to the rapid increase in daylight, and Keith says we should all try to keep things in balance. Holly has a tip of her own about a fun way to keep your balance while getting some exercise out on the icy roads and trails of the season.
